Eugene Vandenberg and Eleanor Cox met over a mutual love of food. Eugene, a butcher for more than two and a half decades and Eleanor a cook, for about the same length of time. They bought Heritage Meats Gourmet in 2003 and were soon aware of the difference in taste between regular meat products and non-medicated meat products.
